Piling up like snowfall / Recollections from 2006

• Many of the people involved in the Nara Yoshitomo exhibitions at the Brick Warehouse are now active in various fields. Sasaki Leo was in his second year of high school when he worked as a volunteer at one of Nara Yoshitomo’s Hirosaki exhibitions, and sensed the potential to connect with a great many people through art. In this exhibition, we present the artist’s current form of expression using glass as his material.

  Born 1990 in Kuroishi, Aomori. Completed the master’s degree program at Tokyo University of the Arts, and worked with Mina Co., Ltd., before launching his career as an artist working mainly in glass in 2018, staging a solo show that year at Hirosaki Hyakkoku-machi Exhibition Hall.
